All of them were wearing expensive grills, which should reflect the wealth after times of financial problems. Grills worn by those artists are very expensive and they denote social status. They also make your teeth really shiny. Basically, accessories like platinum and gold chains, designer digs and dope sneakers send the same message. But, grills are a bit more unique, so their effect is much higher.

Miley Cyrus wore grills in her music video "We Can't Stop," from 2013. That meant that grills are becoming popular in the pop culture as well!
